Step 1: Re-sign Nash and Hill
Step 2: Sign Allen and Garnett to two year deals
Step 3: Trade Gortat and a second rounder for Bosh (or some other trade for him, maybe have to throw in Frye)
Step 4: Get a proven scorer in the draft: Lamb, Lillard or get an amazing passer like Marshall
Step 5: Re-sign Brown or Redd and a decent center such as Lopez
Step 6: Win.
Why the Heat would trade Bosh: The Heat NEED a center, they just have Joel and Turiaf, that sucks. To win, they need a proven center and Gortat is one. He is a strong player that is a great piece for a team like the heat. He doesn't need the ball to be effective as he can rebound really well. Bosh is better than Amar'e, and now we have that but also we have Garnett at the 5, an improved Duds, Allen, and Markieff. That is a great team. This is an old team that is a huge timebomb, but it is still really good. We can dismantle any team, even the Spurs because of our EXTREMELY STRONG starting 5.
PG:Nash/Bassy/Draft
SG:Allen/Redd(Brown)/Draft
SF:Hill/Duds
PF:Bosh/Kieff
C:Garnett/FA(or Lopez)
That is a super strong and deep team that has a tough bench as well with a good scoring option at the two and three, and pretty decent defense all around. Plus our starting five will be an offensive and defensive juggernaut, Garnett guarding the paint, Hill guarding the perimeter, Allen helping Hill, and Bosh helping Garnett in the paint. I know it sounds unrealistic, but its possible... Especially if the Heat are upset by Pacers, then I think they might go on firesale for Bosh for a quality Center and maybe PG...
