Plan B: coming into action

On the road to plan B. According to reports, the Suns are awarded Scola off of waivers. My other post might exactly have been right. Acquiring Scola sets us up to sign Mayo, a very immature player. Scola is a very mature player on and off the court. He's a smart player, an amazing locker room guy, and will be able to lead this team mentally because of his veteran presence.

This sets up a Mayo signing because the Suns cannot have two of the most immature players in the league without a veteran to lead them on the right path. That player is Luis Scola, a winner of a divisional sportsmanship award who always seems to be in the running for that award. Like I said in my other post, he was a fan favorite in Houston and will be a fan favorite in Phoenix. From my friends that are Rockets fans (almost all my friends) I know that they care a lot about Scola and loved him the most out of all the Rockets. They are probably gonna be devastated to hear that Scola is leaving.

Scola will be a great player for us, one of our only two players above the age 30. He can score, run the PnR, shoot, post up, play defense, and is a pretty decent rebounder. He will work wonders with this team.

And one other thing, Childress got amnestied to make room for Scola. I put this late in the post because I just found out. I know this is a small post but I just wanted to share the news. Plan B coming in.
