It seems we've been all fixated on SG Plan B (Plan A being Eric Gordon) limited to getting a FA who "could be" good but would be expensive at the 8-9mil range (Mayo. Lee) that destroys our cap flexibility for next year or hoping our own free agents agree to 1 year deals (Shannon, Redd) - which i doubt they agree to.
Maybe Suns should start looking somewhere else for low cost and/or 1 year contracts. Bulls might agree to take in one of the lakers pick or even a sign n trade for Lopez to give us Richard Hamilton - he's a 5mil contract w/ team option in 2013 so he can backup Dudley for this year and give us back cap space next year. He's old but still a pretty good shooter - definitely better than Redd. I would even say better or at least more reliable than Shannon Brown especially on defensive end. Other options out there? marco Belinilli has not been signed yet right? Good shooter, not much on defense - but he'll probably be alright for 18-20mins per game backing up Dudley and he might be had for 3-4 mil.
What other FA options or possible trades are out there? Marshon Brooks., etc....
