Another week, another Solar Flares FANPOST.

Talk anything NBA or Suns related, or anything you want to commiserate with Suns fans about.

Here's a couple of NBA thread thoughts:

1) European Qualifying Tournament starts Wednesday, for all teams not in the Olympics to qualify for Eurobasket 2013. Our own Marcin Gortat will be playing this week and next to try to qualify Poland.

2) About this time, lots of NBA players hook up in venues across the country to play pickup games to stay in shape, so there's that. Dudley will be in Vegas, likely tweeting on a daily basis about it.

3) There may be a press conference for Jermaine O'Neal this week because he's a 6-time All-Star, though players who sign 1-year, minimum-wage jobs generally don't get a lot of fanfare. Still, it's a signing.

4) Other than that, not much is going on. August is the slowest NBA-related month.
