I've gone mad I tell you! MAAAAAD!!

Ok so here it is. Boston is in a quandry with Rondo out and is looking for something to happen and the Suns, well, you know. So here is my insane rosterbation: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=axg8yua Oklahoma gets: Dudley, Bradley, Morris Boston gets: Dragic, Gortat, Marshall, O'Neal, Minny's 1st rnd pick Phoenix gets: Martin, Rondo, Sullinger, Collins, Barbosa or Wilcox, Toronto's 1st rnd pick (from OKC) OKC does it: They give up Martin (expiring) and a late lottery pick for Dudley, Bradley, Morris and a great team just got better. PG: Westbrook, Maynor SG: Sefolosha, Bradley C: Perkins, Collison, Thabeet PF: Ibaka, Morris, Collison SF: Durant, Dudley, Perry Boston does it: They need to win now with old-men Garnett and Piece and with Rondo out, that isn't going to happen. Ainge has shown in the past he is willing to deal Rondo. The talent drop-off between Rondo and Dragic isn't THAT signifigant, plus Dragic is cheaper AND youre gaining an additional PG in Marshall. Bradley is expendable with Lee and Terry on the roster. With Gortat at center, that pushes Garnett to PF and Bass to back him up, which makes Sullinger another expendable. Basically you are upgrading Collins with O'Neal, and Barbosa/Wilcox is thrown in to make the salaries work. This trade makes Boston an immediate threat in the East and solidifies a great starting lineup, as well as improves the bench: PG: Dragic, Marshall SG: Lee, Terry C: Gortat, O'Neal PF: Garnett, Bass SF: Pierce, Green Phoenix does it: With Rondo out for the season, that ensures pretty much a top-3 pick for the Suns 1st rounder. I do believe that long term Rondo/Sullinger is better than Dragic/Gortat, and cheaper actually. Martin is simply an expiring contract to the tune of $12.4mil. So for 2013-14 we would have Rondo, Sullinger, Frye, Beasley, Scola, and 3 1st round picks under contract at the tune of $40mil (for the picks I used salaries based on the #1,#7, and #12 picks for extremes, not saying that is where we will draft). If we keep Brown, we're looking at $43.5mil. That's some nice cap space for the likes of say, Dwight Howard or Bynum...maybe? 2013 Suns (wishful thinking!): PG: Rondo, Burke SG: Shabazz, Brown C: Howard, Len PF: Frye, Sully SF: Beasley, Roberson(2nd rndr) Anyways, none of this is going to happen, so poop on it all.
