The rumors are going around about Oden's return. The teams in the lead are Miami and Cleveland. I would like to know why Phoenix is not in the mix? It seems to me that there should be a mutual interest between the two. The training staff in Phoenix could benefit Oden and his career. The Suns could use this season and next to find a possible Gortat replacement.

Does this have to do with the front office wanting to keep salary-cap space for possible cash heavy trades? The roster flexibility of our low salary players as trade filler or cutting with no penalty?
