Would you trade Michael Beasley for Andrea Bargnani?

Tom Szczerbowski-US PRESSWIRE

I know it sounds stupid, Bargs has 3 years left (including this one) on one of the worse contracts in the NBA but what if you could get good value in return? Here's my proposed trade:

Suns receive: Andrea Bargnani, Terrence Ross, 2013 unprotected 1st round pick

Raptors receive: Michael Beasley, Kendall Marshall

Why the Raptors do it: They get to move Andrea Bargnani's horrible contract for Beasley's less horrible one, 2013 is not a very deep draft, and losing their pick for flexibility will likely be worth it. Terrence Ross is a good rookie, however an asset they can part with. Kendall Marshall can be a good back-up if they part with Lowry / Calderon.

Why the Suns do it: They are one of the few teams who can actually absorb bad contracts for assets, so why not pull the trigger? Kendall Marshall is unutilized, Beasley is horrible, and Bargnani may just be fixable (though unlikely). Terrence Ross and the unprotected 1st round pick are really the main reasons they sacrifice flexibility over the next 2 years.

So, would you do this trade?
