So, who do we want with Miami's #30 pick?

It seems like the Lakers aren't going to lose and give Utah a chance, so we're stuck with Miami's #30 pick, so it's time to start thinking about who will be available at the bottom of the 1st that we actually like.

Keep in mind - at the bottom of the 1st round, you're looking at 1-skill or 2-skill players. You aren't going to find a guy who can do everything. You can find a guy who can do 1 thing really well, and hope to develop a 2nd skill.

I like Mike Muscala. At 6'11" and 230+ pounds, he has NBA size. And, he put up big rebounding numbers (11.2 per game) this year. Rebounding is a skill that translates well from college to the NBA. That's his one NBA skill. He will probably be an adequate to above average shotblocker based on size and mobility as well, so that's a plus. He has a mid-range jumpshot that's serviceable.

All that to say - this guy is an NBA player, and probably a rotation player. That's a good pickup at #30.
