Player development is the key

I've mostly been a passive member of this community, although very active in reading nearly everything being posted. I love the optimism and energy here the past few months. Over the past couple of months many the posts discussing the future of the Suns.

Here is something I have been missing from the whole discussion, player development. The group is young and the general consensus is that players older than 24 aren't going to improve that much anymore. As an educator, trainer and coach with more than 20 years experience I have to disagree with this. Although this is not the point I want to discuss.

My basic question would be. How will the Suns address the issue of player development? I hear a lot of talk about change but how will they go about this change? I've read that Hornacek has had success with improving the shot of some players in Utah but does that make him an educator. Which training methodologies are being used, and how is technology used to improve players?

I have been involved with Dutch and Belgian professional soccer teams to help them develop development programs for their players. I would like to know how the Suns do this. Maybe some of you who are much closer to the fire can help me understand the development process a bit more. Hopefully I can learn something from your answers.
