Since entering the league in 1968, Phoenix have only had 5 picks higher than the one used to select Len (they have chosen 2nd twice and 4th three times). I'm surprised to see how little long term franchise talent Phoenix has gained via the draft. There have been very few great players drafted, and many have spent significant portions of their career outside of Phoenix. Alvin Adams, Larry Nance, Dan Majerle, Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire and Shawn Marion stand out the franchise's greatest draft selections. The 2013 draft class was clearly a weak bunch but I'm really hoping Len becomes at least a solid NBA starter, stays healthy and has a long career with Phoenix.
