Here is your platform to do just that.
Some of my responses to the Sixers fans on that article's comments section:
Just wanted to point out a couple of things:
Frye is one of the main keys to our offense. He shoots 3s at a slightly higher % than does Thad, and at a much higher volume ( i.e. last 4 games at least 4 made 3’s ). He spreads the floor and allows our team to play our own brand of basketball, where our guards play inside and dish it out to our bigs who are our perimeter shooters. This discombobulates opposing defenses and makes it tough to beat us. Phoenix is NBA opposite land, and most teams have a very hard time dealing with it.
I like Thad a lot, and wouldn’t mind him coming to the Suns, but he would have to play out of position at SF to make it work, and on top of that, that would take away PJ Tucker who is basically a walking offensive rebound/loose ball getter, and is essentially the heart and soul of this current Suns team.
Also, while Archie Goodwin isn’t putting up spectacular numbers this season, he is doing everything he needs to be doing as a 19 year old (was just 18 like a month ago) and is being brought along at just the right speed. He is being groomed to be the same kind of guard Bledsoe and Dragic are, and will fit into our offense quite nicely in the coming years. He can get to the rim literally at will, and once he adds a little more muscle and finishing ability (and hopefully a better jumpshot, but with Horny coaching him that is inevitable), he will be dang near unstoppable. On top of that he is a tenacious defender and speed demon.
(so you aren't getting Archie)
Thad is not an established star, which is the only kind of player we will be trading for. He is wonderfully solid player no doubt, just not an established star who can push us into the upper echelons of the western conference. While I have all the respect in the world for your franchise, and an appreciation for the talents of Thad, Hawes, and especially MCW, I just don’t see a deal between us coming to fruition.
