It's beginning to look like Cleveland is pulling ahead in the race for Lebron, to the point that there is no longer any comic sans on the Cavs website today. While I still think the Suns have the best roster for Lebron to join, I'm not sure we can overcome the draw of "The Return".
With Melo still talking with the Knick and Lakers and Chris Bosh now starting to open up to life after the Big Three, it seems like the Suns still could make a big upgrade with these two stars. A starting line-up of Dragic/Bledsoe/Melo/Bosh/Plumlee will immediately compete for the Western Conference. It seems like the free agency market is waiting on the King, so there still might be time to move on to a Plan B. I wasn't a fan of us going after Melo to pair with Lebron (since their natural positions seem to overlap quite a bit), but Melo paired with Bosh seems to make a little more sense. What do you all think?
