Hello my Bright Side Friends, sometimes I want to talk about the Suns, but I am not sure if I have enough to talk about for an entire post. So I decided whenever I feel this way, I will make a post called random musings. Please imagine me smoking out of a pipe as you read this.

Let's begin.

Am I too insensitive to Propose a Trade to a Desperate Pacers team?

Whenever a major injury like this happens in the NBA, my mind goes straight to what that means for that particular team. What will that team look like the next season and so on. I couldn't help but think this way about the Pacers. They are now in a desperate place. Without Paul George and the recently departed Lance Stephenson they are in a tight spot.

Is there a trade we could do that would benefit us while seemingly benefiting them? And PLEASE get Eric Bledsoe out of your minds because he is not with us yet. Sure we could do a sign and trade but that seems extremely silly considering he and Goran together look like Double Dragon out there. Instead perhaps a Gerald Green trade? A homecoming of sorts? I don't know. Propose a trade below. The rule is try to propose a trade that doesn't involve one of our three favorite point guards. I dare you too. It will help you to think Mcdonoughly.

Here is a link to the Pacer's roster. There are all kinds of fun ideas I'm having. Tell me yours.

Is it time to start thinking about a shortened NBA season?

There are so many injuries in the NBA. I know it's not as much as NFL, and I don't think it's possible to get injured playing catch baseball, but it seems that there are always a slew of injuries in basketball.

So is it time the NBA season shortened?

The 82 game format has been happening since 1967, and I am surprised it has sustained.

The game has gotten more physical and then less physical, but there seems to be more injuries than ever. I wish I had some research about how many injuries per capita there have been as of late in the NBA. Is it less? Or about the same as always? I couldn't find this data.

I have a theory, that there are indeed more injuries today, and that it is due to the increase of flopping. It would be really interesting to see some injury data on the last year of free flopping (no fines) versus the last year of flops being fined. It would be interesting to see if injuries dropped a bit.

This of course is just a random musing, because a lot of this flopping data would be hard to collect, and somewhat subjective.

Musing Three is Who will show the most Growth as a player this year on the suns?

aka I am sick of talking about He who Must not Be named because He has Not Signed

This is an interesting question.

Every year I've told everyone around me that Goran will become a better player, while many around me say he has reached his ceiling. I am now finally at the point though where I think he has reached his ceiling. Am I wrong? I hope so.

Could it be the Morri? They want to stay with the suns, but they aren't quite the players we need. They're pretty good an all, but we need them to step up.

Miles intrigues me. He has a true full year under his belt. A chip on his shoulder from his not so pretty brother being more well regarded. Plus did you see some of those quick turn around shots he was taking in summer league?

Archie Goo...never mind.

Tolliver in a new sytem?

Alex "don't call me Mr. Glass" Len.

It could be anybody. But who will it be? Who will be the most improved Suns player this upcoming season? Comment below.

Well my friends.

Those were my musings. I hope you enjoyed them. I am tired and just wanted to talk about Suns, but not about He Who Must Not Be Named Because He Has Not Signed. So comment below. Tell me your thoughts. Also I want to hear your random musings. Maybe I'll post my random musings every week if this post seems to get some good dialogue going. Please excuse the typos, but random musings are always better with typos.
