Trade Eric Bledsoe for Julius Randall, straight up. Bledsoe isn't rejecting the annual salary or terms offered by Phoenix. That is all a smokescreen concocted by his agent, Rich Paul. Eric is actually rejecting the city and the team.
You see, Eric is too big for Phoenix. He wants to play in Los Angeles with Kobe or Cleveland with LeBron. He is a star pupil in the "life is too short so I'm gonna take everything I can get" school of thought. No loyalties/no attachments/no regrets.
By-the-way, straight-up trade means man-for-man...no strings attached. Fortunately for Phoenix, the Suns still receive next year's Laker first round (Lottery) draft pick. The Lakers and Bledsoe get the pleasure of figuring out between themselves what the going rate for a mercenary is these days.
