This summer has been going right to plan for coach Earl Watson and the Suns players. After spending most of a week in San Diego, many of the Suns veterans showed up at Vegas to support the pups for Summer League.
First, there was T.J. Warren, first team All-Summer-League last year, who is rehabbing his broken foot.
And then there was new signee Jared Dudley...
and then there was Alex Len signing autographs...
And also Brandon Knight
and finally the man himself, who's been helping Watson keep these guys together all summer: Eric Bledsoe
He's sitting next to Julie Fie, the basketball communications manager.
So that makes six vets - Dudley, Knight, Warren, Bledsoe, Len and Jenkins - all making their way to watch the four youngest Suns players: Devin Booker, Tyler Ulis, Dragan Bender and Marquese Chriss.
I love all the togetherness these guys have, with ten roster players all in one place in July.
Conspicuously missing, in my mind, are a couple of staples of Suns Summer League last three years: P.J. Tucker who who either played or visited the past four years and Archie Goodwin whose played the last three. They didn't make the San Diego trip in June either.
But then again, maybe just maybe they earned the month off.
