I understand he is clutch late game. (If the Lakers had even an average pg I think they wouldn't be in as many of these late game situations.)However, his defense cannot be anything more than average and he has the least assists of any starting point guard and he is among the bottom in regards to assists of any PG playing 20 minutes or more. He barely scores too. He's not even shooting 40% from the field.
I also understand he is a leader, but he should be their assistant coach not starting point guard.
In tonight's loss
Derek Fisher played 46 minutes.
He shot 0/7 from the field and 0/2 from the 3 pt line.
He scored his only 2 points from the charity stripe.
He had 3 rebounds and only 2 assists.
He did have 4 steals and a block though.
There are rumors about Oden being on the block. Is he worth a shot at a third string center? I know he has had terrible injury history, but the suns have also had a great history of keeping injury prone players healthy (i.e. Hill, Shaq). If the price for the trade is cheap, should the suns take a shot? He has showed great flashes of potential when healthy and if anyone can keep him healthy, its us.

Any Ideas or suggestions for an out of state Suns fan.
I, unfortunately, am a Suns fan living in Portland. Portland as a city is amazing, but having to watch suns games on Portland broadcasting is... well, comedy!
The half time broadcasting is done by a guy with a stupid grin that he can not wipe off his face which is followed by the cheesiest of comments. His co-anchor is a man with 5 chins that has probably never dribbled a ball in his life. Their actual knowledge of basketball outside what the teleprompter tells them is very much in question.
Worst of all, the in-game announcers sound just as a bad as a biased, drunken fan in the bleachers. Every opponents foul is followed by a comment similar to, "wow he just mauled B-Roy, you don't do that to an all-star of his caliber!" Every blazer foul is followed by a comment similar to "he barely even touched him! Worst call i have ever seen!" even when its a very clear foul. Every single call is complained about throughout the entire game.
I am often forced to watch constant replays of a foul they want to complain about while the game is still going on, forcing me to miss a play or two.
The in-game commentators are constantly bashing the suns fans and players to the point that it's just not professional.
This series has been painful to watch with out the legend Al McCoy providing the play-by-play. I understand that the broadcasters have to be loyal to a team. However, when it gets to the point of being so terribly unrealistic and biased it just makes the broadcast seem so amateur.
Just thought i would share my pain. I hope everyone else out there realizes how lucky you are to not have to watch the Trailblazers amateur hour!
