East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - Tony Allen had 32 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 111-108 preseason win over the New Jersey Nets.
Eddie House scored 21 points, while Gabe Pruitt totaled 14 points and dished out seven assists for the Celtics. Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Sam Cassell did not play for the defending champs.
Vince Carter poured in 19 points to lead the Nets, who also got 15 from Yi Jianlian.
