Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Miami Heat forward Dorell Wright underwent successful surgery Tuesday to clean out loose bodies in his left knee.
The 45-minute procedure was a follow-up to surgery Wright had to repair a meniscal tear in his left knee on March 3 of this year.
Wright originally injured the knee against Sacramento on March 2, 2008. He is expected to resume court activity in three weeks.
Wright did appear in one game this season, compiling two points on October 31 versus the Kings.
The five-year veteran has appeared in 134 games for the Heat and has averaged 6.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
