Coming Soon: Q&A #2 with Dan Hilton of Suns.com

Fresh off of his first Media Day and training camp experience, Suns.com Web Analytics Coordinator and former Bright Side of the Sun blogger Dan Hilton will be doing another Q&A with us, similar to the one he did in August. I have a few questions of my own I'll be asking, of course, but I also wanted to open it up to our readers this time to submit questions of your own. Preferred topics are:

  • The recent Suns.com makeover
  • Media Day
  • Training camp
...however, other questions are welcome as well. Keep in mind that much as you wouldn't be allowed to divulge to the world your own company's proprietary secrets, there may be some questions that he cannot answer. But rest assured, every question submitted between now and our preseason tipoff later tonight (Thursday) will be passed along to Dan for consideration. So ask your questions in the comments, and I will post his responses Monday evening.

Ok - I'll go
Dan - describe how your life has changed since taking this job and how much worse it must be for you to no longer be blogging on BSoS.

Deep, Probing Questions
Do you have to work during the games?  I can imagine there are some positions that require that and it could ruin a dream job with the Suns -- like dying of dehydration in the ocean.

Do you get free tickets?  Discounts?  What about merchandise?  Are the fringe benefits any good?

Are you expected to attend games?

Do you have to wear purple and/or orange to work every day?  Do you have "casual Fridays"?

Where do you eat lunch?  Is the food any good?

During breaks, can you go down and shoot a few hoops?  Is there any sort of intramural pick-up league?

Do you have kids?  Do they think it's cool that you work for the Suns?  Do they visit you at work?

Does the Gorilla walk around in costume at work (kind of like Duff-Man)?  Does he, like Duff-Man, have other responsibilities such as driving the blimps or working the scoreboard at the Roadrunners' games?

Same question for the dancers.

Are you now blogging in a psuedonym?  If so, what is it?

Mmmmm ... Guinness
