Anyone want Ron Artest?

Sounds like Ron Artest's services may be available sometime soon. Anyone think the Suns should take a chance?

Don't worry, I'm not serious. It's things like this that make me grateful for the ownership the Suns have. Sure the Suns may have passed up some really good players because of their off-the-court problems but it's better to be safe than sorry. The biggest chance that the Suns took that I can think of is trading for Barkley and he isn't a bad guy. It just seemed like people seemed to bug him. He wasn't like Artest who seems to look for trouble.

I'm willing to wait a few more years for the trophy if it means I can root for a team I'm not embarrassed by.

And I agree with Dan. A trophy would be great, but not if it means I can't be proud of the players on the team.

No way!

The Phoenix Suns are very careful about the character/off court activities of their players. There is no way they would sign Ron Artest after this. I am grateful for that.

Agreed...

It's easier to root for a team where you like all the guys, not to mention that someone who causes problems could effect the performance of the team anyway.
