Indy Cornrows has posted the SB Nation Most Improved Player award and the winner is Kevin Martin!

Most Improved Player always seems like a weird award to me. It's like saying, "Look, dude, you are pretty good this year but last year? Wow, you really stunk up the joint. Here's an award just for not becoming one of those guys that sits on the end of the bench for a few years and then ends up leaving to play in Greece."

How come we don't get to announce an award?

Are they only allowing blogs for teams that didn't make the playoffs announce them?

That's correct

Only the non-playoff teams are doing awards since we've got enough to write about over the next few weeks. It was either that or come up with 12 awards and that would have been a bit difficult, I think. I had trouble posting voting threads for the 6 awards we have! :-)
