Game Thread: Phoenix Suns vs Orlando Magic

The Phoenix Suns try to continue their 8-game win streak against the Orlando Magic tonight.  The Magic lost by three to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.

In the past meeting between Orlando and Phoenix, the Suns won by 14 points and they held Dwight Howard to 4 points and 3 rebounds.  He averages 18 points and 13 rebound so I expect him to try and have a monster game against the Suns tonight.  Especially since his team lost to the Lakers despite 25 points and 10 rebounds last night.  And the game before that he had 30 points and 25 rebounds.

What are the keys to the game?

Keep Howard under control - If the Suns can keep him under 20 points and 10 rebounds, they should be able to win this game.

Keep the bench under control - Orlando's bench scores 33 points a game.  The entire team only averages 94 points a game.

Score more than 100 - The Magic score 94 points a game and only allow 92 points a game.  The Suns score 111 points a game and allow 103 per game.  Something's gotta give.

It seems simple and fairly obvious but if the Suns can keep Howard and the Orland bench under control and score more than 100, they should win this game easily.  The Suns have only lost three games at home all season.  They're tied with 5 other teams for the least number of losses on their home court this season.
