Kurt Thomas hyper-extended his elbow in Monday night's game against the Grizzlies and they found this afternoon that he will be out for 4-6 weeks. According to Paul Coro from the Arizona Republic, Kurt Thomas will be in a range-of-motion brace for 3 weeks and then will begin rehab.
The good news? They don't think he'll be out during the playoffs - at least this point. I'm nervous that because he is getting up in age it may take longer than 6 weeks. But even if it takes two months, the Suns will still have him back in March.
Ugh, this just makes me sad...it was at this point last year when the Suns started giving up a lot of points. Let's see if the Suns can hold it this time. Pat Burke better get ready because he might get some more time!
