The Suns face the Bulls tonight in a late night matchup on TNT. We could be looking at a bit of "wounded animal" syndrome from the Bulls. They are in a place familiar to Suns fans about this time a year ago. What was expected to be a good team--one of the preseason favorites to win the East--is struggling to get out the gate. The Bulls currently sit 1-5, the same record the Suns had last season prior to going on a tear. Let's hope the Bulls wait one more game before getting their act together.
The Bulls' starting lineup for this game is a subject of some discussion over at Blog-A-Bull. The latest word seems to be that Andres Nocioni will start in place of Tyrus Thomas. But regardless of who starts, the Suns should expect a well-rested herd of, well, angry bulls looking to reclaim their pride after an ugly shellacking by the Raptors on Saturday. The Suns should be up for the challenge, as long as they come into the game with energy and focus.
No in-game commentary from me tonight as I will once again be attending the game at the US Airways Center. I'll be back to recap the game after it's over.
More of this would probably cure the fan enthusiasm problem:
