Phoenix Suns 107, Denver Nuggets 131

The Suns dropped a nugget of their own tonight.  No analysis.  Just some numbers for your review.

40-90 Field Goals - 44% shooting
9-27 3-Point Shots - 33% shooting
Rebounds - 38 (9 less than Denver)
Turnovers - 20
Shots Blocked - 8
Balls Stolen - 12
Assists - 26 (9 less than Denver)

Raja Bell - 5-17 shooting
Amare Stoudemire - 4-10 shooting
Shawn Marion - 5-11 shooting

If the Suns think the teams they play will just roll over now that they beat the Mavericks once, they are sorely mistaken.  They are not very good right now and it sure would be nice to see them play some good basketball the last few games of the season.  At this point, they Suns look as if they'll lose the 2nd seed to a Spurs team that is playing much better.

Of course, in the grand scheme of things, it is really only two losses.  Two bad losses but still just two losses.  At the end of the season, it doesn't matter if you lost by 31 or by 1, it's still a loss.

The Suns have a chance to make it up over the next few games and let us forget all about the past two sick, sick losses.
