Amare is the Future and the Now

Nope, the title of this post doesn't mean I'm backing off what I said the other day about Steve Nash being the right guy to lead the Suns in the here and now. It refers to some light reading I'm leaving ya'll with for the weekend. Ian Thomsen of CNNSI has provided us with his picks for an All-Current Team as well as who he thinks will make this list in another five years. Amare Stoudemire is listed as a reserve at center on his All-Current Team, and Steve Nash is listed as a starter (for lack of a better word) in the front court. But Amare won't have to take a back seat for long. Thomsen has him as the power forward of choice on his All-Future Team, and Nash's name is nowhere to be found. There's also an All-Time Team, which doesn't include any current players other than Tim Duncan at power forward and Shaquille O'Neal as a backup center. So what do ya'll think? Who got snubbed and who got gifted? Who would make your All-Current, All-Future, and All-Time teams?

And for those who just can't get enough of the Tim Donaghy scandal, The Smoking Gun has 17 pages of details for you.
