The All-Star reserve selections are in. Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire made the cut, but no love for the Matrix. Shawn Marion will be sitting this one out for the first time since Nash came back to Phoenix. Can't say it's much of a surprise. A lot of deserving players had to get snubbed thanks to the insane competitiveness in the West this season. No team in either conference has more than two All-Stars this time.
The other Western Conference reserves are:
- Carlos Boozer (Jazz)
- Dirk Nowitzki (Mavericks)
- Chris Paul (Hornets)
- Brandon Roy (Trailblazers)
- David West (Hornets)
- Chauncey Billups (Pistons)
- Chris Bosh (Raptors)
- Caron Butler (Wizards)
- Richard Hamilton (Pistons)
- Antawn Jamison (Wizards)
- Joe Johnson (Hawks)
- Paul Pierce (Celtics)
