Open Game Day Thread: Dubs v Nugs

I don't know how you can be a basketball fan and not be jazzed up for this epic showdown.

The Battle of Tattoos!
The Rumble in the Roaracle!
The Two Best Defenses in the Game (assuming you subscribe to the best defense is a great offense theory of basketball)!

Here's a snippet from Golden State of Mind:

De-fense I'm not really sure how good chanting "De-fense" will do, but it's worth a try. This game is going to be super high scoring. I'm talking 150-149. Neither team plays any defense, so it's just a matter of which team is going to hit the most shots and take care of the ball. If either team decides that defense might be important, they'll win. If both teams decide that defense is important, you'll see some pigs flying outside.

And from our friend(s) at Pick Axe and Roll:

As devastating as a loss will be for the vanquished team, this game could catapult the winner into a magical playoff run. Whoever ends up in the eighth spot will most likely face the New Orleans Hornets. Do you think either of these teams would be afraid heading into that matchup?

What it all boils down to is this is the biggest regular season game of the season in the NBA and one of the most important regular season games in Nuggets history.

I have to give the edge to the Warriors because of that great home court crowd and because they are the tougher team mentally.

But the Nugs have the edge with Camby, Nene, and K-Mart and they should be able to control the glass and the paint. Slower the game the better it is for Enver. But then again, they don't have the discipline to play like that.

Best matchup: Ellis and AI. These two going at each other makes the price of admission a bargin!
