It's Saturday and my world has gotten very busy as of late which coincides nicely with the rather early end to the Suns season.
Or to look at it another way, a very early start to the Suns 2009 exhibition pre-season schedule. That's certainly what we had last night in Memphis. Here's the proof:
- Nash and Shaq played less then 20 minutes each while Dragic and Lopez each had over 20 minutes
- Only one Suns starter was in double figures
- 22 turnovers...actually this was the 8th time this season the Suns had 22 or more turnovers so perhaps this isn't a good indicator or pre-season sloppy
- Lou Amundson tied for team high score with 13
I am not going to bore you with the details since clearly at this point in the Season of Fail you or I really don't care (and to be completely honest I watched maybe 15 minutes of this game and couldn't bring myself to ignore Mrs. Stan and slog through it on Tivo later in the evening).
There is a lot of interest however in what comes next and by that I don't mean tonight's battle royale in Minneapolis where if we are lucky a guy named Kevin Ollie will be the starting point guard.
