Lance Armstrong (lancearmstrong) on Twitter
Lance is making his come back...not thrilled about that but I am a HUGE fan of the TDF. I don't/can't watch bike racing at any other time of the year but I am totally hooked on le Tour. If I had the time, I would watch every second of every race. Go figure. -
Andy Roddick and Roger Federer's Shakespearean saga of a match - Los Angeles Times

SportingNews.com - Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Bloated Sports Salaries
Multimillion dollar player salaries may not make much sense if you try and judge them according to the standards of the real world workplace. But sports aren't real, they're big-budget escapism meant to distract, embolden, and entertain us. Theocracies, military dictatorships and China all understand this; they go back as far as civilization itself and aren't going to lose their elevated status just because our country hits an economic snag. And dare I say that if there's one thing we can all agree on about America, it's Ben Gordon's $10 million really doesn't register with us as hard currency any more than Monopoly money does. It's a fantasy number, of interest only to those egg-headed fans who bother to comb over salary figures in their spare time.
