Western Conference Playoff Report: April 5

The sure sign of trouble for the Lakers is when Kobe shoots 20-something times. An even larger sign of trouble is when he connects only 8 times. In other news, the Thunder didn't surprise anyone in defeating the Wolves. A four way tie in record exists for the moment with Utah, Denver, Dallas, and the Suns all at 50-27.

Sunday April 4th Western Conference Games of Significance:

Spurs 100 Lakers 81 -yadda, yadda, yadda, Manu, Manu, Manu, yadda, yadda. The Lakers shoot 40% and in doing so screw the Phoenix Suns again. Kobe went 8-24. Manu scored 32, Timmay hit for 24 and the Lakers slide continues. I'd love to see these to squads matched up in the first round. (Game Recap)

Thunder 116  Timberwolves 108- The Thunder went up 25 and cruised to a W. Kevin Durant broke the Thunder single season scoring record and went for 40 (13-22), including a perfect 12-12 from the line. Westbrook had 10 and 16 and Jeff Greene 16 and 10. (Game Recap)
