Want to feel a little better today? The Suns plan was solid - Kobe was just better

1

All season, the Suns' defensive plan was to force 16-23 foot jump shots. It's the least-efficient shot in the game. And against the Lakers, the Suns did just that (click on the headline link). It was a solid plan that came thisclose to working (really, click on the headline! I swear you'll see what I mean). As you can see, it's just that Kobe had the shooting series of this life. Seriously. The man has never shot that well before. We need to tip our hats to him. And appreciate that Alvin really had a great plan, considering Game 5 turned on an airball putback, and Game 6 on contested Kobe jump shots.
