Suns Final Score: Orlando beats Phoenix 115-94

What a collapse. After a 40 to 20 third quarter by the Orlando Magic, the Suns threw away what was looking to be a promising game. Phoenix falls to 1-2 on the season and begin their road trip 0-1.

This game was tough to watch. It was gut wrenching and almost totally embarrassing. After leading at halftime by ten, the Suns were outscored in the second half by 31 points and had no answer for the Magic. Orlando absolutely cruised in the second half and won with the final score 115-94.

It's going to be a long season if the Suns let teams like the Magic score 115 points. J.J. Redick finished with 24 points off the bench and it seemed like he couldn't miss in that train wreck of a second half. Nikola Vucevic had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds, Glen Davis had 22 points and 8 boards, Arron Afflalo ended the game with 22 points and E'Twaun Moore finished the game with 15 points.

If the Suns want to finish above 20 wins, they can't lose to teams like the Magic often. Has anybody seen Jared Dudley recently? The guy has disappeared. Dudley only managed to score 3 points and the Suns bench combined for 19 points. Those two ingredients make up a recipe for defeat. The other four starters for Phoenix actually had decent games, especially Luis Scola. Scola dropped 24 and snatched 7 rebounds. Marcin Gortat had as good of a game as I have ever seen him play by scoring 14, grabbing 11 rebounds, and getting 4 blocks.

Consider any momentum gained by the win against the Pistons stopped. Now the Suns go on to play the up and coming Miami Heat (heavy sarcasm). That one might be the scene of a murder if the Suns put up the same effort against LeBron James and his crew.
