Twenty years ago today... ugh
Game 6 of the 1993 NBA Finals was full of hope. The Phoenix Suns had survived elimination in Chicago with a stirring Game 5 win, bringing the series back to Phoenix. Only a Paxson three killed the Suns on their home court.

After going down 0-2 on their own home floor in the NBA Finals, the Phoenix Suns rekindled their hopes with an inspired triple-overtime 129-121 win, featuring 6 three-pointers by Dan Majerle and huge games from Kevin Johnson and Charles Barkley.

On the night he was crowned the NBA's Most Valuable Player, Charles Barkley couldn't carry the Suns to a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals. Sam Perkins made a 3 with 9.8 seconds left to seal the victory.

After carrying the Phoenix Suns through the second round series, Charles Barkley barely had to show up for game one of the Western Finals for the Suns to win going away. Still hungover from beating the Rockets, the Seattle Supersonics sleepwalked through game one of the Western Finals, handing the Suns an easy win, 105-91.

After flubbing the first two chances to win in San Antonio, the high-scoring Phoenix Suns turned to their Hall of Fame forward for the win. In the final seconds, Charles Barkley isolated against fellow Hall of Famer David Robinson and drained a midrange shot for the win.

After the 1993 Phoenix Suns saw their 2-0 series lead disappear in the Conference Semifinals against David Robinson's San Antonio Spurs, Charles Barkley said in order to win the Suns needed to "go home. Just go home." That they did.
