Next Starts Soon: Phoenix Suns to Unveil their New Look on August 15th

The wait is almost over. The Phoenix Suns have announced that the team's new uniforms will be revealed during a fashion show on August 15th.

The Phoenix Suns are all set to enter a new era in the upcoming 2013-14 NBA season. With new management, new coaching, new players, new goals, and new hopes, it was only fitting for the team to adopt an entirely new set of uniforms. All summer, the Suns have been teasing fans with several "sneak peeks" of their latest jerseys and the team has just announced the date of the final reveal of the new uniform set.

In a press release, the team revealed that the new uniforms will be unveiled during a fashion show at Scottsdale Fashion Square at 7pm on Thursday, August 15th. A few current Suns will team up with several former Suns to take part in the unveiling:

Suns players Eric Bledsoe, Alex Len, Archie Goodwin and P.J. Tucker will reveal the new look, with Suns Ring-of-Honor members Alvan Adams, Tom Chambers, Walter Davis and Dick Van Arsdale, as well as alumni Eddie Johnson, Steven Hunter and Tim Kempton all scheduled to participate. Legendary radio play-by-play broadcaster Al McCoy, as well as Suns President Jason Rowley, will also play a role in the highly anticipated event.

After a summer in which the Suns have proved to be huge teases when it comes to new jerseys (seriously, two months worth of "sneak peeks" is far too much anticipation-building), fans will be glad to know that the new look will be revealed in just over a week, after which the uniforms will be immediately available for pre-order.

In other uniform-related news, the jersey numbers of the newest Suns have also been revealed by the team's equipment manager:

The Suns' projected starting lineup could possibly feature jersey numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 (Dragic, Bledsoe, Butler, and Gortat). Since #5 is retired (Dick Van Arsdale), this means we HAVE to start Michael Beasley at power forward to have a lineup of number 0/1/2/3/4, right?

So who's excited for these jerseys to finally be revealed? I, for one, am giddy with excitement for the chance to pre-order a brand new Malcolm Lee jersey.
