My biggest worry about this game is Danilo Gallinari going off for 30. Outside of that, I think the Suns can win the game handily as it's a home game and the Nuggets are on the second night of a road back-to-back.
Pregame notes:
- Eric Bledsoe has two games this season of 20+ points, 5+ assists, 5+ rebounds, 2+ steals, 2+ blocks. The whole rest of the NBA has one.
- In the Suns 7 home games, the team leading at the end of three quarters is 2-5. Geez.
- Hornacek on ball handling: "We look at the analytic numbers. Their usage rates are a little lower. The big difference with Goran is that when Eric was off the floor he was the point guard [full time]. Now with Isaiah, it's a 50/50 thing whoever gets the ball out."
- Denver coach Brian Shaw on Suns: (paraphrase) you can't just guard the three point line. Only 27 of their points per game on threes. You have to guard the rim and the lane and get back in transition. They have so many weapons and ways to score.
