Eric Bledsoe of the Phoenix Suns turns 25 today.

He finished his 24th year on the planet with a bang, turning in his first career triple double against his former team the Los Angeles Clippers. His effort - 27 points, 16 assists, 11 rebounds along with 2 blocks and 2 steals - was good enough for a big Suns win until after the clock turned to 0.00s and Griffin's desperation three bounded through the hoop.

But let's not forget how great Bledsoe was last night.

That was the first triple double by a Phoenix Suns player since Boris Diaw in 2006. 2006!

Here's the game-saving block at the end of regulation to force overtime:

And here are the full game highlights. Sorry Suns fans, it's mostly Clipper highlights but there's some Bled in here too.

If we get a Suns-centric highlight vid of Bledsoe's triple double we can embed that later today. Sam?

Here's Sam's highlights of Bledsoe last year.

Happy Birthday Eric!
