According to a report today from Paul Coro of azcentral.com, Archie Goodwin was arrested outside of a skating rink for disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest, earlier this month in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Goodwin, who is only 19 years old and arguably the most promising young rookie that the Phoenix Suns have had since Amare Stoudemire, is still maturing and likely learning how to conduct himself in the public eye.

Apparently, Goodwin was  "exhibiting aggressive gestures" and didn't comply with the officer's request to stop using profanity.  He then reportedly tried to get away from the officer while in the process of being detained.  He was subsequently arrested and booked in the Sherwood, Arkansas jail.

Although the details are still relatively sparse, it doesn't seem that this is a major offense...but it certainly isn't the best way to make an impression on your coach, GM, and owner.

***Update***

Moments ago Archie posted the following message to his personal twitter account:

Who knows what is meant by this, but I'm assuming he has another side of the story to report.  More details to follow, I'm sure.
