Phantasy Phix
Your Suns get the first of two matchups against the Bulls this season before hitting the road for the second of four against the Warriors. Last season Phoenix was 0-2 against Chicago and split four with Golden State. We know what happened the first time with GSW this season, though. Let's get some more of that.
Who loves the Bulls?
Goran Dragic. No Sun played especially well in both games against the Bulls last season, but Dragic shined in the second. The Dragon shot 9 of 15 from the field for 24 points to go with 7 assists.
Who hates the Bulls?
Gerald Green Yuck. Cringe worthy stats for Green against Chicago last season. In the first game he hit 6 of 16 shots and 3 of 10 from behind the arc for 15 points. That was the bright spot. In the second matchup a month later Green connected on just 2 of 13 attempts for 5 points, his second lowest total of the season when playing more than 21 minutes.
Who loves the Warriors?
Marcus Morris Morris had arguably his best game of the season against Golden State. The 17 he scored against the Warriors is his fifth highest scoring output of the year. His 9 rebounds is still his best game on the glass.
Who hates the Warriors?
Isaiah Thomas Don't let the 22 points fool you. Thomas hit 13 of 14 from the line in game one. Off the charity stripe he shot just 4 of 13 from the field and 1 of 5 from three in 27 minutes.
Who loves the Suns?
Taj Gibson. Gibson put up impressive numbers against Phoenix last January. 19 points on 9 of 16 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds.
Draymond Green. Green's third highest scoring night of the season game against the Suns. 7 of 14 from the field, his second best shooting performance of the season when attempting more than 13 shots, for 22 points and 9 rebounds.
Who hates the Suns?
Jimmy Butler. Last season Butler shot a combined 9 of 32 from the field and 1 of 8 from behind the arc across two games against the Suns.
Andre Iguodala. Iguodala was a complete non factor in game one. 31 minutes, 1 point, 3 rebounds, 1 assist.
