The Suns waived Deonte Burton today. He wasn't at training camp. He still is expected to join the roster for D-League affiliate Bakersfield.

Phoenix signed the University of Nevada-Reno product, who spent last preseason with the Sacramento Kings before being waived, on September 16th. As reported by Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic, Burton will join the Bakersfield Jam, the Phoenix D-league affiliate.
The Suns must trim their roster to 15 before the season tips off on October 27th. Corey Jefferson, Henry Sims, Kyle Casey, and Terrico White will battle it out for the remaining two spots.
