Trying to go through a screen on defense, Bledsoe fell to the floor and couldn't get up. It appears to be a non contact injury to the left knee. The team continued to play without him for a possession before calling a timeout.
It looks like Bledsoe's injury has officially been classified as a left knee sprain and he will not return tonight. However, an MRI should confirm that assumption later.
Eric Bledsoe sprained his left knee and will not return to the game tonight. He'll undergo a MRI. #SunsVs76ers— Paul Coro (@paulcoro) December 27, 2015
If Bledsoe is out long-term, get ready to see a lot of Brandon Knight at point guard and a lot of Devin Booker in the starting lineup. Who knows, maybe even Sonny Weems will crack the rotation.
