Suns beat Bulls with three late defensive stops

The Phoenix Suns finally won a close game on a late shot but it was the defense that earned the victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Mirza Teletovic is a hero for grabbing the offensive rebound and hitting that crazy shot. Brandon Knight's 17-point fourth quarter and Devin Booker's big shots are also praiseworthy. But this game was won thanks to Jon Leuer's defensive mobility and the team communication and rotations that held the Bulls scoreless in the final 1:51 and forced two turnovers and a stop in that stretch.

Watch how it went down and enjoy the feeling of winning a game with clutch defense. Hopefully, this wasn't an aberration.

Suns beat Bulls with three clutch stops

Offensively, the Suns survived 18 turnovers (only three in the fourth quarter) which seemed to me were the product of over thinking the halfcourt offense and forcing passes that weren't there in an attempt to "stick to the script" of the play. 12 of the 18 turnovers were classified "bad passes" by official scorer.
