Phoenix Suns in bottom-third of ESPN's first power rankings of the season

Marc Stein is doing power rankings once again on ESPN for the 2015-16 season. This time, the Suns sit at 22 in his first edition of ESPN's power rankings.

With the preseason just a week away, and the regular season coming up in a month, Marc Stein's first edition of ESPN's weekly power rankings are out.

Phoenix comes in near the bottom at 22, which shouldn't be too surprising after a shaky offseason. Up-and-coming Sacramento sits just above, and the improved Magic sit one below at 23:

The top three teams should not surprise very many, as the NBA champion Golden State Warriors enter the new season at number one, followed by LeBron James and Cleveland and the San Antonio Spurs.
