Now it’s time to get serious on this ticket drive, Suns fans!

We are at just over 500 tickets donated to date for soon-to-be-deliriously-happy kids but that’s not even close to where we want to go!

We want over 1000! And Jared Dudley wants to help us get there!

Sending underprivileged kids to a Suns game - this year it’s Sunday, December 11 versus Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans! - is a new annual tradition for Bright Side readers and related Sun fans.

Last year we sent 700 kids to watch an early-season win over the Denver Nuggets using a grass roots campaign of just us here in the Bright Side community.

This year, we want to send 1,000+ to watch the Suns beat the Pellies, but with only a month left we’re only halfway there!

So, the Suns own JARED DUDLEY has upped the ante.

The Dudley Double

As you all know, Jared loves giving away tickets to Suns games. This year, he’s upping his game and, in this case, partnering with Bright Side to get it done.

For every ticket donated this week to Bright Side Night, the Suns Jared Dudley will MATCH it with a donation of his own to Bright Side Night, up to 125 tickets!

You donate one ticket (for $16) and Jared will make it two. Donate five (for $80), Jared will make it TEN.

Amid all these good things, including whats-in-it-for-you, let’s not forget the kids themselves.

These are kids have very little in their lives to make them happy. Going to an NBA game with their friends, meeting the Gorilla and the Suns dancers, going home with some Suns bling will be something they hold dear for years to come.

Think about that. Think about the first professional or college level game you attended as a child. You’ll never forget about it. And neither will these kids.

We want this donation of tickets to pass along that experience to kids to be something you remember forever too. Not only do you get the satisfaction, we also want you to get something tangible out of this too.

Donating 1-9 tickets

• Some of you donators of 1-9 tickets will get their own pair of lower-bowl tickets to a game of mutual choosing later this year (i.e. just about any home game you want) courtesy of Dave K or the Suns.
• Jared Dudley doubles your donation this week!

Donating 10+ tickets

• Every donator of 10+ tickets gets their own pair of lower-bowl tickets to the December 11 game against the Pelicans (or you can donate those tickets; or you can exchange them for a game later in the year if more convenient for you!)
• 25 of you get invited to a pre-game gathering to meet Ryan McDonough and ask him questions
• 25 of you get to go down to the floor level to the High Five Tunnel at halftime
• Jared Dudley doubles your donation this week!
