Phoenix Suns fans need some good news, and got a little bit this weekend.
Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports that Suns forward T.J. Warren, who has not played since November 18th, will fully participate in practice on Monday. Saturday he he played with three-on-three contact.
After having his first play with contact Saturday in three-on-three contact, Suns forward T.J. Warren’s next step before returning will be a practice that includes full-court scrimmaging. That is slated for Monday and then Warren will decide when he is ready to return to game action for the first time since Nov. 18.
Warren would be a welcome return for the struggling Suns who dropped a 120-119 overtime decision to the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. Through 13 games this season, Warren averaged 17.7 points and 4.3 rebounds.
No timetable has been given for Warren’s return. The Suns host the New York Knicks on Tuesday and the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday before traveling to Oklahoma City for a Saturday matchup with the Thunder.
