The Suns and Knicks played a basketball game.
Thats all I have to say about that.
First half
Suns came out like they didn't even think the game had started yet. Every starter was in quick sand. Luckily the Knicks are just as bad.
Alex Len picked up two quick fouls in four minutes on lazy defensive plays. In that time, he missed his only shot and grabbed just two rebounds. There's going to be games like this still.
The Suns scored 4 points in 6 minutes of play. Against one of the worst defenses in the league. This is one of those games Tyson Chandler just looks like he doesn't want to be on the court.
Meanwhile, the Knicks just lazed their way to their own 15 points on 5/11 shooting including two threes. Carmelo Anthony only took two shots in this "run".
15-4 Knicks after six minutes.
The Suns slogged and clogged their way through the first quarter, refusing to take the Knicks' bait of playing poorly too. Watson stayed with the starters for nearly the entire quarter, sans Len, but couldn't garner any momentum. Nobody looked like they were even trying. Even Devin Booker, who had 10 of the Suns 19 points, didn't look engaged.
They ended the quarter down 10 points thanks to a Sasha Vujacic perfect 3/3 quarter. Including the walk-off buzzer-beater. Of course.
Knicks 29-19 after one.
The Suns had ZERO assists on their 8 made field goals. #nosharing
They also had ZERO offensive rebounds. #nocaring
The second quarter didn't start off any better. None of Goodwin, Teletovic, Jenkins, Booker or Len looked ready to play as a unit either.
Robin Lopez had his way with Alex Len, just blocking shot after shot against the young man. Len was equal parts unfocused and outplayed.
At one point, the Knicks went up 27 on the Suns.
At one point, Devin Booker was 7/11 for 16 while the rest of the Suns were 7/24 for 16 points.
After a flurry of points from mostly Devin Booker, the Suns were able to cut the Knicks lead to only 20
