Brandon Knight is out tonight, and likely out for remainder of season. Had a flare-up of sports hernia (terrible groin pull) and is checking with trainers and his people whether it's ready to go again. Might need surgery if bad enough.
Coach Watson said he had surgery himself on the same thing. "You can feel it pulling from the bone," he said. I don't know about you, but that's not a place of my body I want the sensation of pulling from the bone.
Otherwise, everyone is okay. Mirza's bubble guts are gone.
On why Archie Goodwin's minutes are so limited in a lost season, Watson says "You have to compete." Then he went on a five minute ramble about competing, but basically said Ronnie Price is the guy playing like he's in his third year and fighting to earn playing time.
Let's go!
Remember, it's a 7:30 tip off tonight.
