Suns' P.J. Tucker wins Majerle, Nash awards for being a great guy

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Phoenix Suns forward P.J. Tucker remains the favorite of the fans as well as the favorite of the guys who do post-game interviews.

For the fourth time in four seasons with the Suns, P.J. Tucker gets rewarded by the fans with the annual Dan Majerle Hustle Award. The Suns asked for votes over the past week from season ticket holders via email and fans from any corner of the earth via social media and their website.

Tucker also was voted by the PBWA (Pro Basketball Writers Association) as the winner of the inaugural Steve Nash Award for professionalism with media. I did not get a chance to vote (the PBWA doesn't like me - or many bloggers for that matter - enough to allow me in), but would have voted for P.J. anyway. He's made himself available after nearly every game this season, no matter how bad it got on or off the court.
