Perhaps the best thing about the hangover from the NBA Draft is scouring through thousands of words about how teams are "graded" with their selections.
(Yeah, like we should be able to tell how a team fares a few hours after one of the most random events in sports. A team's grade is basically the microcosm of how they accrued value in correspondence to the flurry of mock drafts floating around. In all actuality, nobody knows.)
Luckily for Suns fans, a lot of pundits had some very nice things to say about what Ryan McDonough was able to pull off last night. So I guess this is a good thing. For now.
Chad Ford
Ford unloaded one of his highest marks for the Suns in his column:
Sam Vecenie
CBS Sports' draft aficionado commended the value the Suns hoarded with their selections. He has been big on Dragan Bender and Tyler Ulis during the draft process, so it is no surprise that he commended Phoenix for their draft:
Andrew Sharp
A former Grantlander, Sharp has taken his talents over to SI for a little while now, and surprise, surprise -- he was fond of what the Suns did as well:
Tom Ziller
Last, but not least, we have SB Nation's own in Tom Ziller. He viewed every team's draft with the brightest optics, giving the entire NBA an A+, so take this high mark with the utmost grains of salt:
Rejoice in the praise Suns fans -- we are every draft hipster's new favorite team.
