Severe headaches late last year quickly led to emergency surgery on November 5th. How serious was it? Kuric's mother following the surgery:
"We weren't sure he would survive the flight back -- getting on a commercial flight for 8-10 hours with no medical personnel -- he would have been with his wife and the kids," Kyle's mom said.
Read more about Kuric's journey here. I'm going to go ahead and call it the story of the summer. I've already forgotten about the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Phoenix Suns kick off their summer Slate Saturday, July 9th, at 1 pm against the Portland Trail Blazers.
